Who we are

We are a group of families who come together on an informal basis to play and learn in community with others, to build friendships for our children and ourselves.
We value the importance of play and believe in providing our children with plenty of unstructured social time... to create, explore, play games, talk. As homeschooling families we recognize that learning happens all the time, is a natural part of our lives, and that it happens best in an atmosphere of trust and respect. Our group activities reflect this belief and tend to be unstructured or loosely structured. Members are always welcome to share any skills or talents with others who are interested, or encourage others to learn a new skill with them.
The families in our group have children of all ages, from babies to teens. Most activities and field trips are open to all ages, however we do sometimes have activities such as movies and roller skating that are geared for older kids (10 and up).
